Medical service provider Fresenius Medical Care has partnered with Polycom to build a high definition video conferencing and audio solution.
Nam Chan, Network and Systems Manager, Asia Pacific, Fresenius, says that with Polycom’s solutions, the company had been able to save a lot of communication costs, and has also improved the collaboration between employees and branch offices.
Easy to use and effective cost control
Christopher Taylor, Regional Director, Korea, ASEAN, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Polycom Asia Pacific, says, “Polycom has partnered with DeltaPath, using frSIP Unified Communications platform to integrate Polycom’s video and audio products, and even the latest mobile video application RealPresence Mobile. This can allow Fresenius employees use smartphones, tablets, desktop or notebook computers for video or audio conferencing no matter where they are.”
frSIP integrated UC Platform
David Liu, Founder and CEO, Deltapath, says that frSIP is based on open standards, and can be tailored according to customers’ requirements. frSIP platform has functions such as status perception, contacts, call records, audio and visual messaging, and users can access this platform simply through a browser.
Exceptionally clear audio
Nam Chan says that Polycom’s HDVoice technology has much clearer audio than the old PBX system. “As a multinational company, audio reception is dependent on the network environment and can be very unstable, which makes the need for high definition audio more apparent. After the deployment of Polycom’s solution, the quality of audio has noticeably improved.”
